Please note that Hydrophilic PVDF syringe filters are not compatible with majority of strong acids and caustic solutions, such as dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethylformamide (DMF), acetone, ketones, esters, and ethers.

Components of PTFE Syringe Filters These syringe filters usually have hydrophobic PTFE filter media and are placed in glass fiber reinforced polypropylene.
