A solid disk of PTFE offers superior chemical inertness against the most aggressive solvents. The thin membrane allows for easy penetration by most needles. PTFE septa are not resealable. They should be used with relatively short cycle times or single injection methods.

Metal caps offer the widest range of temperature tolerances and are very resistant to fracture from impact. Metal caps are great for gas chromatography applications. A metal closure is manufactured from either steel (coated with anti-corrosive coating of either chromeplate or tinplate) or aluminum.

Aijiren’s Headspace Caps often use metal material aluminum, which is soft and convenient for Hand Crimper and Decrimper for sealing. Not only that, the Septa produced by Aijiren is also made of high-quality silicone and ptfe, and is pressed with an exclusive process. This kind of septa is not easy to deform, break, and fall off, and it can also ensure the tightness of the vial.

Crimp Caps squeeze the septum between the rim of the glass vial and the crimped aluminum cap. This forms an excellent seal preventing evaporation. The crimp cap vial requires crimping tools to carry out the sealing process.

The 20mm septum is made of PTFE/silicone fusion, which has excellent inertness and can be used for multiple injections. The thickness is 3mm, and PTFE is about 0.08mm. The cap of the clamp-top empty bottle is made of metal aluminum
