20mm Crimp Top Headspace Vial

Headspace vials are a kind of laboratory vials for top space analysis, with the features of high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. The material of Headspace Vials is low extractable Borosilicate glass with low expansion rate, high-temperature resistance, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance and high chemical stability.

All 20mm Headspace Crimp Vials may appear to be created equal, but quality and performance make the difference when analyzing vital samples. Aijiren 20mm Headspace Crimp Vials are cleaned and packaged in a certified Class 10,000 clean room according to a designed process, developed to eliminate chromatographic errors associated with vials.

Headspace vials are specialized containers designed to hold samples for gas chromatography analysis, particularly when using headspace sampling techniques. The 20mm crimp-top variety refers to vials with a 20mm opening that is sealed with a crimped cap. These vials are available in various sizes, with 6ml, 10ml, and 20ml being the most common.

10 ml 20 ml headspace vial is a specialized type of vial used in gas chromatography (GC) analysis for the analysis of volatile compounds.
It is designed to hold a sample in the headspace, which is the gas phase above the liquid or solid sample.
Head space vials analysis of gases present in head space sample vials,Laboratory bottles for head space analysis are called head space vials.
To get accurate results,We also have certain requirements for sample bottles and septa.

A headspace vial is used in the process of top – gas chromatography. When detecting volatile or semi-volatile mixtures with high boiling points, we need to heat them to vaporize them at the top. In this process, since the liquid samples are at the bottom, the material in the top gas can be measured without touching the liquid in the sample vial.

Aijiren Tech crimp top headspace vials are available in a flat or round bottom style, with clear or amber glass. Headspace closures are available in pre-assembled caps with septums or can be ordered individually. Pressure release, seal with lining, and seal with magnetic lining are also optional.

The headspace sample vials produced by Aijiren can be made of clear or amber glass, with round or flat bases, crimp seals with beveled or square edges, or surface treatments with threads. The headspace bottle, septum and cap can be purchased separately or together as a convenience kit to meet the needs of your laboratory.

High-performance 6ml, 10ml, and 20ml 20mm crimp-top headspace vials (ND20) crafted from USP Type I borosilicate glass. Engineered with a beveled neck finish for secure, pressure-resistant sealing in GC analysis.

The Chromatography Direct range of 20mm Crimp Top Headspace Vials and Caps are available in 20ml Amber and Clear, 10ml and 6ml in a variety of flat and round bottom – suitable for CTC, Perkin Elmer and Aijiren autosamplers. Our 20mm Crimp Caps are Silicone/PTFE and compatibile with all autosamplers.

The 20mm septum is made of PTFE/silicone fusion, which has excellent inertness and can be used for multiple injections. The thickness is 3mm, and PTFE is about 0.08mm. The cap of the clamp-top empty bottle is made of metal aluminum

These 20mm molded septa and grey butyl stoppers provide stable sealing performance for laboratory vials. Their 3mm thick structure ensures reliable needle penetration, low extractables and clean sample protection. Suitable for routine analysis, sample preparation and storage applications.

Headspace vials, septum, and caps can be purchased in various quantities separately or together as convenience kits to fit your laboratory needs.

Aijiren’s Headspace Caps often use metal material aluminum, which is soft and convenient for Hand Crimper and Decrimper for sealing. Not only that, the Septa produced by Aijiren is also made of high-quality silicone and ptfe, and is pressed with an exclusive process. This kind of septa is not easy to deform, break, and fall off, and it can also ensure the tightness of the vial.

The 20mm Caps with Septa are specifically designed for secure sealing and precise analysis of headspace samples in laboratory settings. These caps have a 20mm diameter, ensuring a tight and reliable fit on crimp headspace vials. The septa, made of high-quality materials, provide excellent sample integrity by preventing contamination and evaporation during storage and analysis.

A solid disk of PTFE offers superior chemical inertness against the most aggressive solvents. The thin membrane allows for easy penetration by most needles. PTFE septa are not resealable. They should be used with relatively short cycle times or single injection methods.

This table summarizes the full range of AIJIREN screw-cap headspace vials—available in 6mL, 10mL, and 20mL capacities, clear or amber glass, and with flat and round bottom options. Equipped with Type 5 or Type 7 septa and aluminum cap assemblies, they ensure leak-proof sampling. Suitable for high-throughput GC/HPLC and autosamplers.

Metal caps offer the widest range of temperature tolerances and are very resistant to fracture from impact. Metal caps are great for gas chromatography applications. A metal closure is manufactured from either steel (coated with anti-corrosive coating of either chromeplate or tinplate) or aluminum.

Headspace vials can withstand the higher temperatures and internal pressures required for volatile gas analysis. With very low metal content, extractables and leachables, top headspace vials meet high standards to meet your regulatory requirements.

Equipped with Silicone/PTFE Septa, and can also be used with slit septa. Usually the available cap color is silver, but other special colors can also be produced accordingly. There is a 9.5mm center hole in the center of the cap for automatic sample injection.

The Crimpe Top headspace vials produced by Aijiren are usually made of Aluminum. A special model is SBC201202, which uses double-sided Septa made of PTFE/Silicone and Crimp Top blue Magnetic Aluminum Cap with 8mm center hole.
