Flat Bottom Screw Top COD Test Tube

The COD Test Tubes produced by Aijiren are often used for digestion colorimetric experiments. This kind of experiment has high requirements for COD Test Tubes and has a wide range of applications. Pharmaceutical, petroleum, chemical, water quality, etc. all need to use digestion colorimetric experiments. experiment. Aijiren’s COD Test Tubes can well meet the requirements for consumables in the digestion colorimetric experiment.

With the Aijiren COD tube test, each user can easily perform highly sensitive and accurate water detection.
The time required for the measurement process is significantly shortened, especially for standard analysis and series measurement, while significantly reducing the workload.
The COD Test tube contains a precise dose of reagent. Therefore, excessive chemical inventory is avoided and work safety is improved.

Aijiren uses high-quality raw materials to make 16mm Test Tube for Water Analysis. Customer satisfaction and praise have made Aijiren one of the largest laboratory consumables producers in southern China. First, Aijiren will stick original intention to ensure the quality of 16mm Test Tube for Water Analysis.

Glass test tube is a cylindrical container made of glass that is commonly used in scientific laboratories for holding, mixing, and heating small quantities of liquid or solid substances. Test tubes are usually open at one end and have a rounded or slightly flared bottom. They come in various sizes, ranging from a few centimeters to several centimeters in length.
Test tubes are designed to withstand high temperatures and chemical reactions, making them suitable for a wide range of experiments and analyses.

This COD test tube is designed with precision and functionality in mind. It features a rugged construction that can withstand the rigors of COD testing, including high temperatures and exposure to various chemicals.

Aijiren COD Test Tube is small in size and light in weight. It can be tested without any other laboratory equipment and technicians; it only takes 3-5 minutes to test a sample, without additional materials or instruments, and is easy to operate.

Water Sample Cell
Color: Clear
Volume: 20ml, 30ml
Size: 25x60mm, 25x95mm
Cap: with black cap

PP cap is made in one molded piece of inert, chemically resistant polyethylene. The starburst slits allows for easy needle penetration. Developed for high-sensitivity applications, especially in the LCMS Market, the purity of this cap for extractables is well below the picogram range. This highgrade polyethylene does not have the contamination issues PTFE/Silicone septa show at low levels of detection, while also sealing exceptionally well.

Chemical oxygen demand is a vital test for assessing the quality of effluents and waste waters prior to discharge. The Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) test predicts the oxygen requirement of the effluent and is used for monitoring and control of discharges, and for assessing treatment plant performance. The impact of an effluent or waste water discharge on the receiving water is predicted by its oxygen demand. This is because the removal of oxygen from the natural water reduces its ability to sustain aquatic life. The COD test is therefore performed as routine in laboratories of water utilities and industrial companies.

The Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) test is widely used as a measure of organic contamination by determining the quantity of oxygen required for oxidation of reduced species including organic matter, in a water sample using a specific oxidizing agent, temperature and time reduction. COD testing is a good better indicator of organic pollutants in industrial wastewater containing cyanides and heavy metals. COD testing affords rapid response to changing conditions before critical problems develop.

The COD Test Tube produced by Aijiren has a capacity of 10ml, 12ml, and 15ml. The caliber is 16mm. It is often used for water quality testing and contains liquid reagents. It is mostly used in the petroleum industry and chemical analysis.

The 16mm COD Test Tube produced by Aijiren is mostly used for laboratory chemical analysis. Aijiren believes that COD Test Tube requires high-quality raw materials and advanced technology to complete the production, so Aijiren is very attentive to the production of COD Test Tube. Aijiren has been a veteran in the field of chromatography consumables with 20 years of production experience. He still maintains his original intention and puts the improvement of product quality in the first place.

With the Aijiren COD tube test, each user can easily perform highly sensitive and accurate water detection. The time required for the measurement process is greatly shortened, especially for standard analysis and series measurement, while greatly reducing the workload.

The COD Test Tube is made of borosilicate glass, which can reduce pH changes and contaminants that can leach out of soda-lime glass. The glass digestion test tube can be used for analysis at temperatures higher than 130 degrees Celsius. It is made of laboratory storage for a variety of general purposes and can hold almost anything.

To use the digital heater for the COD test, set the temperature on the digital display to 150°C. On no account must the heater be set at a higher temperature than that specified as this may cause a hazard through pressure build-up in the COD tubes.

The used COD Tubetests contain strong sulfuric acid and other chemicals, so reagents must be handled carefully. The contents of the pipe should be disposed of in accordance with the requirements of local authorities.
These test tubes are SGC certified. These tubes can only be used once, so they cannot be reused.

Suitable for colorimeters and test kits on the market
Also suitable for instruments and test kits
Easy-to-open sealed vials eliminate the risk of cross-contamination
Extend the shelf life to five years
Used for municipal wastewater testing; industrial wastewater and process control testing; environmental water testing

In this test a reagent blank is used instead of the usual water blank referred to in the general photometer operating instructions. The reagent blank is prepared by adding deionised or distilled water to the reagent tube and then digesting the tube in the same manner as for the water sample.
It is not necessary to prepare a reagent blank each time the test is carried out. The reagent blank tube may be prepared weekly and used repeatedly with all samples prepared from the same batch of reagent tubes. The reagent blank should be stored in the dark between uses.

Aijiren has been engaged in the production of COD test tube with Caps for more than ten years, we have absolutely rich experience and familiar processes to produce COD test tube with cap, and we can guarantee the high quality of COD test tube produced by Aijiren with reasonable price.

The COD Test Tubes produced by Aijiren are often used for chemical oxygen demand detection. The glass used in the COD Test Tubes produced by Aijiren has high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and can well protect the samples without affecting the experimental results. Aijiren’s raw materials are of high quality and production experience Abundant, with favorable product prices, it is a high-quality supplier of chromatographic consumables.

It is worth noting that if the used COD Tubetests contain strong sulfuric acid and other chemicals, the reagents must be handled carefully. The items in the pipeline should be disposed of in accordance with the requirements of local authorities. These tubes can only be used once and cannot be reused.

Open COD test tube, hold it at an angle and slowly add
2.0 mL of the pretreated sample solution from the reaction tube without mixing so that two separate layers
are formed.
Screw cap securely on to test tube, hold tube by the cap, place tube into the safety bottle and shake
(Caution, test tube becomes hot). Place tube into the heating block. Start heating programme.
After 2 h remove test tube from heating block, allow to cool down to room temperature and shake gently
several times.
Clean outside of test tube and measure.
Adjust photometer to zero by using blank value “NULL”
