Reagent bottle is a type of laboratory glassware used for storing and dispensing chemical reagents. Reagents are substances that are used in chemical reactions or laboratory analysis to produce a chemical change or to detect, measure, or test other substances. Reagent bottles are specifically designed to safely contain and preserve these reagents.
Reagent bottles are typically made of glass, although plastic versions are also available for certain applications. Glass reagent bottles are preferred because they are chemically inert, meaning they do not react with most chemicals and do not contaminate the reagents being stored.

The reagent bottle can withstand a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), and its heat resistance is far better than standard laboratory glass (or soda lime glass). Aijiren glass can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, so it can be reused in freezers, microwave ovens, autoclaves and dry heat sterilizers.

Aijiren™ reusable media bottles are made of high-quality borosilicate 3.3 glass. These bottles have excellent chemical resistance and are ideal for storing reagents, culture media, biological fluids, and various other aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.

Reagent bottles that have been used in a laboratory or otherwise used to store chemicals should not be used for storing food or drinks. The bottles in our kits are always brand new but they may contain a white residue from the process of grinding the neck and stopper so they should always be washed before use.

The glass of the reagent bottle has a low thermal expansion coefficient and can be autoclaved repeatedly (resistance to 140¡ãC). With scale and white enamel marking area, it is sturdy and durable.
