Clear Glass Reagent Bottle

Reagent bottle is a type of laboratory glassware used for storing chemical substances, specifically reagents. Reagents are chemicals or compounds that are used in chemical reactions or analysis to produce a chemical change or to detect, measure, or qualitatively analyze other substances.
Reagent bottles are designed to safely contain and protect reagents from contamination or degradation. They are typically made of glass, although plastic reagent bottles are also available. The bottles come in various sizes and shapes, but they commonly have narrow necks with ground glass stoppers or screw caps to create a tight seal and prevent evaporation or leakage.

Aijiren™ reusable media bottles are made of high-quality borosilicate 3.3 glass. These bottles have excellent chemical resistance and are ideal for storing reagents, culture media, biological fluids, and various other aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.

Reagent bottles that have been used in a laboratory or otherwise used to store chemicals should not be used for storing food or drinks. The bottles in our kits are always brand new but they may contain a white residue from the process of grinding the neck and stopper so they should always be washed before use.

COD reagent vial refers to a specific type of vial used in chemical analysis for measuring the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of a water sample. COD is a measure of the amount of oxygen required to chemically oxidize the organic and inorganic compounds present in a water sample.
The COD reagent vial contains the necessary chemicals and reagents to facilitate the oxidation reaction. It typically includes a mixture of strong oxidizing agents, such as potassium dichromate or potassium permanganate, along with other chemicals that help initiate and accelerate the oxidation process.

With their superior chemical resistance, these bottles are ideal for storing reagents, culture media, biological fluids and a variety of other aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.

Clear bottles are ideal for display purposes and range in size from 100ml to 1000ml, the larger sizes can be used to store preserved biological specimens in the laboratory. The larger sizes also make excellent terrariums or miniature aquariums.

The glass media bottle is made of borosilicate glass or soda lime glass and equipped with a plug or cover to prevent the contents from overflowing or being polluted by the external environment. Reagent bottles are ideal for storing powders and liquids. Amber or red media bottles can protect photosensitive contents from ultraviolet, visible and infrared radiation.

The  GL45 Reagent Bottle is made from high-quality borosilicate glass, ensuring durability and chemical resistance. This glass material is known for its excellent thermal stability, making it suitable for a wide range of reagents and solvents commonly used in laboratories.

The reagent bottle can withstand a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), and its heat resistance is far better than standard laboratory glass (or soda lime glass). Aijiren glass can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, so it can be reused in freezers, microwave ovens, autoclaves and dry heat sterilizers.
