COD reagent vial refers to a specific type of vial used in chemical analysis for measuring the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of a water sample. COD is a measure of the amount of oxygen required to chemically oxidize the organic and inorganic compounds present in a water sample.
The COD reagent vial contains the necessary chemicals and reagents to facilitate the oxidation reaction. It typically includes a mixture of strong oxidizing agents, such as potassium dichromate or potassium permanganate, along with other chemicals that help initiate and accelerate the oxidation process.

Reagent bottles that have been used in a laboratory or otherwise used to store chemicals should not be used for storing food or drinks. The bottles in our kits are always brand new but they may contain a white residue from the process of grinding the neck and stopper so they should always be washed before use.

Aijiren glass can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, permitting repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers.

All hybex bottles have permanent, white enamel graduations for volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding. All hybex media bottles include a drip-free sealing ring as well as a standard blue polypropylene (GL45) sealing cap. Bottles are also available with green, purple, white and yellow caps, or in an assortment pack containing two of each color.
