Polypropylene screw cap with septum-The polypropylene screw cap with septum provides an anti-evaporation seal. The double layer includes silicone and PTFE. The silicone septum can be injected multiple times. Screw caps lined with PTFE are used for organic samples. The screw cap provides an inert, air-tight seal and can be directly pierced through the sample with a syringe needle.

The sample storage vial can be ordered separately as a sample storage vial and cap, or as an unassembled convenience kit. The unassembled convenience kit saves sample preparation time.

The manufacturer’s lot number for each component of this product is tracked until all procedures are completed at which time a final lot number is assigned and documented. A randomly selected collection of vials from each completed lot are submitted to an independent validation laboratory for quality control purposes to confirm that the TOC vials comply with the quality specification. The vial, closure and dust cover undergo comply with stringent quality standards and specifications.
